Provision of Building Fire Risk Assessments

Place Partnership Ltd. are seeking a sole provider to deliver a contract for the provision of Fire Risk Assessments, with an intuitive software solution as part of the data collection provision that is readily accessible for building occupiers through dedicated logins. Place Partnership manage approximately 1300 assets across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire on behalf of our partnering authorities.

The contract will run for an initial term of 4 years and will be reviewed with the possibility of a 1 year extension period thereafter.

Overview of the requirement.
To undertake fire risk assessments for each property within the portfolio including the possibility of assessing non-buildings where we occupy a room.
All fire risk assessors must hold accreditation from one of the following boards:
Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE)
Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM)
Institute of Fire Prevention Officers (IFPO)
Hold the level 4 CFPA Europe Diploma in fire prevention as a minimum.
The Company should hold the following accreditations:
BAFE SP205 Accreditation
ISO 19706:2007 Guidelines for assessing the fire threat to people.
ISO9001 Quality Management Certification

School Construction Opportunity at Redhill Primary School Worcester

Place Partnership Limited on behalf of Worcestershire County Council invite suitably qualified suppliers to take part in this tender process for the Construction of a 850m2 two storey school extension, associated Mechanical and Electrical installations and External Works, drainage and External Services in accordance with the Employers' requirements at Red Hill Primary School, Worcester.

All tender documents can be accessed from the "My Tenders" area of the Worcestershire County Council e-procurement web-site. .

Expressions of interest will be accepted until 25 June 2017 and the deadline for submissions will be Monday, 26 June 2017 at 12.00 noon. There will be no extensions of time permitted for the return of tender.

Only tenders submitted via the e-tendering portal will be accepted. Please allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns will not be permitted.

Contract Details: JCT Minor Works Building Contract with Contractor's Design 2011.

Suppliers must meet the required industry standards and accreditations, they must have proven experience in the design manufacture and installation of Modular Educational Buildings. Suppliers should have relevant Industry and Health & Safety accreditations - Alcumus, Acclaim, CHAS, SSIP, CITB, Constructionline. Suppliers must meet Worcestershire County Council's minimum insurance of £5,00,000 each for Employer's Liability, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Suppliers must be vetted by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). All costs associated with DBS vetting will be met by the successful supplier. Non-vetted personnel will not be allowed on site. You can obtain a DBS check via Worcestershire County Council umbrella body and should contact the DBS team
